Our History
Capital Fish Market Ltd
Capital Fish was established in 1967 and it has since grown into one of the largest seafood distributors in the region.
We import fish and seafood from the Carribean, Europe, Asia, Africa, and South America in order to provide customers with the freshest quality and the best variety of products. We are wholesale distributors of fresh and frozen fish and seafood and we supply these products to numerous restaurants, hotels, supermarket chains, and the general public in Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec. Our facility is located at 160 Rue Adrien-Robert in Gatineau, beside Highway 5, near the casino.
We are open to serve you Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Saturday from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. Customers may purchase directly from our cash and carry counter located on the premises.
Alternatively we can provide daily delivery to customers in the Ottawa/Gatineau area. We stock over 950 different items. Please consult our product list, and if you are looking for something special we will be happy to try and obtain it for you.
Capital Fish is involved in numerous fishing expeditions and organizations, to read more about these please refer to the International Presence section of our website. Gift Certificates are available and are a great gift for seafood lovers. Our prices are very competitive, and we guarantee all of our products to your complete satisfaction. Our warehouse receives fish directly from the coast and we promptly deliver it to our customers. Purchasing from us may be just about as close as you can get from this region, to receiving fresh fish from the fisherman themselves.
